Praveen Kumar was born in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, in the year 1981. He is an alumnus of BITS Pilani and also holds an MBA degree. He is listed as one of the TOP 10 STAND UP COMEDIANS in India by Times of India.
Today, Praveen has over 280 Stand-up shows to his credits and has performed in many Corporate events in India & other cities– Oracle, Dell, Bosch, Ocwen, Zynga, Cadence, SAP, Altisource, Siemens, BMC software, Top 50 Marketers in India (New Delhi), Datacraft, Sabre Holdings, TESCO etc.
He collaborated with other Stand-up comedians, and as a team, has performed in- SNAP in Bacchus and Polished Bottoms.
Praveen has performed regularly in Comedy Store, Mumbai for Best in Stand up and Local Heroes – a feat achieved by very few Indian comics.
He got married in 2008. Currently he resides in Bangalore with his wife and daughter.
