We think the Beatles said it best (or sung it rather) with ‘All you need is love’. John Lennon certainly felt the same way, and famously said,
“It matters not who you love, where you love, when you love or how you love, it matters only that you love”.
We couldn’t agree more.
Namma Pride
At KnowYourStar, we truly believe that love transcends all boundaries and that everyone, regardless of gender, race, caste, abilities, religion, sexual orientation, sexual identity, and beyond, deserves to love and be loved.
The Bangalore Pride March
With that in mind, we’re kickstarting November with stories that celebrate inclusiveness and one very important walk (or march). Every year since 2008, the Bangalore Pride March, a uniquely united and local effort, brings together the city’s rich and varied LGBTQIA+ community (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, etc) and their allies.
This November, we’ll be joining the march in solidarity with the notion that whoever you are, and whoever you love, you deserve respect.
So lend your support, contribute, and take the opportunity to interact with people who may express themselves differently, but are looking for the same thing as us all – love, acknowledgement, and respect.
Take pride in who you are, and join the march on November 20, 2016.
